Terms and Conditions for Use of PG e-Logbook

1. Acceptance of Terms
By registering, accessing, or using this e-logbook platform, you agree to be bound by these Terms and Conditions. If you do not agree, you must not use the platform.
2. Purpose of the Platform
This e-LogBook is designed to assist postgraduate (PG) medical residents in recording academic activities, procedures, skills, surgeries, and other training progress for educational and institutional purposes only.
3. User Eligibility
You must be a registered PG medical resident or authorized faculty/dean. You agree to provide accurate and complete registration information. You are responsible for maintaining confidentiality of your login credentials. You are responsible for any wrong entries / enteries made by any other person using your login credentials.
4. Data Entry and Responsibility
You are solely responsible for the accuracy, completeness, and authenticity of all data entered. You must not enter false, misleading, or fabricated records. Entries are reviewed by authorized faculty, institutional administrators or University.
5. Patient Data & Confidentiality
You must not enter personally identifiable patient information unless explicitly permitted by your institution and compliant with applicable laws. If patient-related data is entered, it must be anonymized in accordance with applicable data protection laws and any applicable healthcare regulations. You are responsible for maintaining patient confidentiality at all times.
6. Data Ownership and Usage
All data entered remains the intellectual property of the College. The platform may store, process, and display data for academic tracking, reporting, and administrative purposes. Aggregated, anonymized data may be used for analytics or research.
7. Institutional Access
Authorized faculty, institutional and University administrators may access, review, validate, grade or comment on entries. Your institution may use this data for academic evaluation and compliance.
8. Prohibited Use
You agree not to:
Use the platform for unlawful purposes.
Upload harmful, malicious, or inappropriate content.
Attempt to breach system security or access unauthorized data.
9. Financial conditions
This platform can be used at a cost mutually agreed by the college and platform creator. You agree to pay the cost as decided between these parties.
10. Advertisement disclaimer
This website may display advertisements from third-party advertising providers, including Google AdSense. These ads may use cookies or similar technologies to personalize content. We do not control, endorse, or guarantee the accuracy, authenticity, reliability, or completeness of any content, products, or services advertised. Any reliance you place on such advertisements is strictly at your own risk. You must exercise your own discretion and judgment before engaging with, relying on, or making any decisions based on the content of such advertisements. The platform creator shall not be held responsible or liable for any loss, damage, or consequences arising from interactions with third-party advertisements.
11. Data Security
Your personal data will remain with the College. It will not be shared with any of the third-party, except authorized departments including examination department. We implement reasonable technical and organizational safeguards to protect your data. However, no system is completely secure, and we do not guarantee absolute security.
12. Limitation of Liability
The platform is provided “as is” without warranties of any kind. We are not responsible for decisions made based on the data entered. We are not liable for data loss, inaccuracies, or system downtime.
13. Account Suspension or Termination
We reserve the right to suspend or terminate accounts for:
Violation of these terms.
Misuse of the platform.
Institutional request.
14. Modifications to Terms
We may update these Terms at any time. Continued use of the platform constitutes acceptance of the updated Terms. You are advised to periodically check the terms and conditions.
15. Governing Law
These Terms shall be governed by the laws of India. Any disputes shall fall under the jurisdiction of courts in Maharashtra.
